Every weekend through the month of August, AFC will hold free, LIVE pop-up concerts! These performances will feature small groups of Criers (1-3 members) playing outside at locations around Boston for audience members to enjoy live music in a safe, socially distant setting.
Due to weather, Jae’s original Pop-Up date has been rescheduled to Sunday, August 30th! Tickets for this event are currently SOLD OUT. If you can’t make it in person, you can watch it live from the A Far Cry Facebook page!
How It Works:
In-person audience capacity will be limited to 25 people per pop-up as conditions allow. In addition, in accordance with City of Boston regulations and to avoid large gatherings, the specific locations of each event will be be kept secret to everyone except those who have reserved tickets. Ticket holders will receive an email with the location of their upcoming pop-up at least 36 hours in advance of the event. If you’d like, bring a chair! All events will take place in Boston, specifically around the Jamaica Plain and/or Roslindale neighborhoods.
Tickets are free, although they must be reserved in advance. Tickets will be available for reservation for each pop-up starting the Monday before each event, and will remain open until all 25 spots are filled. Reserve tickets by clicking on the “Featured” events below or navigating to the “All Concerts” tab. Sign up for our mailing list and you will receive an email as soon as tickets to each event become available!
Safety Protocols - Know Before You Go!
The health and safety of our patrons, musicians, and staff is our top priority. Face masks and hand sanitizer will be available onsite at all events. A Far Cry reserves the right to ask attendees not complying with health and safety protocols to leave the events. With guidance from clear signage and A Far Cry staff, audience members will be required to follow protocols that keep us all safe. These include:
Wearing masks that cover the nose and mouth at all times;
Social distancing – maintaining at least six feet of distance from other people at all times;
Seating will not be provided to audience members, they will be responsible for bringing their own chairs;
Be advised: DO NOT ATTEND if you have expressed any COVID-related symptoms or should symptoms develop within two weeks of the concert date;
Limited attendance of 25 total audience members, not counting performers and staff, not exceeding 50 total people at each pop-up location.
