Featuring AFC violinist Robyn Bollinger, Open Space: Transformation is a multidisciplinary performance exploring the nature of change in a pandemic world. With music spanning 300 years and literature spanning 2000 years, Bollinger blends music, philosophy, and poetry in her distinctive style to observe the hopes, dreams, struggles, and surrealities of life in 2020. This event will feature solo violin works of Bach, Ysaÿe, a new work written for Bollinger by acclaimed composer Katherine Balch, and readings of Kafka, Langston Hughes, and Goethe. This evening of virtuosity and reflection is not to be missed. This event is presented in partnership with A Far Cry.
