AFC programs routinely feature arrangements by the Criers. Here, for the first time, the ensemble presents original compositions, inspired by aspects of the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, where they are chamber orchestra in residence. Everything from works of art, to the architecture, the cafe fare, even the museum staff could be the subject of these new works. The program will also include companion pieces by other performer-composers throughout history, from baroque to modern day masters.
