A Far Cry is the Chamber Orchestra In Residence at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, a position the ensemble has proudly held since 2010. As one of Boston's most historic and revered musical institutions, the Gardner continues to grant us abundant opportunities to expand our programming, take more artistic risks, reach new audiences, and make a real home in their spectacular new Calderwood Hall.
A Far Cry has performed regularly on the Gardner's Sunday afternoon concert series since the residency's inception, and in the 2012-2013 season, increased their presence at the by joining the innovative and boundary-bending Thursday night "Avant Gardner" series.
