Matthew Hall studied music and linguistics at Harvard and musicology at the University of Leeds (UK) on a Fulbright. He is organist and assistant choirmaster at Church of Our Saviour, Brookline, and an editorial assistant at the Packard Humanities Institute, Cambridge, working on C.P.E. Bach: The Complete Works. Matthew is the artistic advisor to the Harvard Early Music Society, a company specializing in Baroque operas and oratorios; he plays regularly with the Harvard Baroque Chamber Orchestra and Leeds Baroque Orchestra< and is active in chamber music and freelance work.
